Overview

BreakColorUI consists of a Dashboard application and a Chrome Extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy covers both services and explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

Data Collection

Dashboard Application

When you use the Dashboard, we collect and store:

  • Email address and name (via Clerk authentication)
  • Project configurations (color palettes, typography, spacing, theme settings)
  • Project names and metadata

This data is stored in our Supabase database and is necessary to provide our core services.

Chrome Extension

The Chrome Extension does NOT collect or transmit personal data. It only stores data locally on your device:

  • Color palette configurations synced from Dashboard (stored locally only)
  • Project settings (project name, project ID)
  • User preferences (copy mode: CSS variables or HEX)

Extension data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to external servers.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our services
  • Store and sync your color system configurations
  • Authenticate your access to the Dashboard
  • Enable communication between the Dashboard and Chrome Extension
  • Improve our services and user experience

  • contextMenusAdds a right-click menu option for quick access to color palettes
